The another way to make us think more creativity is by the juxtaposition method.
this is also taught by our creative studies lecturer.
We feel that very lucky to have this course after this few week because the method that we learning is really useful.
This week, we are trying to create something new by using word,
the difficulty of this method is we have to throw all the logic away and think from the origin,
that we have to act as we are first time see the words.

A juxtaposition lesson again and we need to thanks Ong Sim Wey again ^^. I had learn that juxtaposition is not just for images but words.The new creative words are weird and funny but it really take us think out of box.Fly wood,ice tree , flower rain and other.Sounds imporsible but in future is an other question.
ReplyDeleteIt's really hard for us to throw away our logic and our knowledge and become a little new born baby that known nothing.Besides,every kids will always garble the dog and the cat.They will always said that a dog is a cat ,and a cat is a dog.Because of that,I start to feel curious that why dog must call dog and why cat must call cat?Why can't a dog names a cat and a cat names a dog?I know it was crazy but once we have our own creativity, nothing will become Obstacle in our life.
ReplyDeleteThis is the first juxtaposition, that we need to use subject to combine together. Using the combination of words to present a new subject. We need to create an unfamiliar subject to other to make everyone familiar to it. The creativity must be high or else is not interesting enough.
ReplyDeleteThis is very simple exercise for me, because I just use 2 words to combine together and create design from literally. It is amusing to drawing these word combine.
ReplyDeleteThe step by step of this exercise taught us how to combine the 2 unknown words but the different idea comes out when the words is either an "and" or combine together. I learned anything is possible, even we combine something totally different. There always have an image comes out from nowhere.
